GSoC mentors

Hi fellow committers,


How are people managing students as mentors?  Back when I was active
on tomcat and jmeter, I remember mentors would cobble together a
solution that worked for them.

What are some of the pain points with mentoring?

Does each project do a review at the end and compile that for easy use
in the future?
