in windows phone 8.1, Does this app work on windows phone 8.1, It is showing
some localsystem and also creating files and folders. but they are not visible
if browse thru phone file browser and similarly whatever phones has, they are
not visible to my code. what is wrong? Does this really work with windows phone

Re: Cordova Face to Face meeting

2015-08-19 Thread Steven Gill
I have closed the doodle.

Oct, wed 14th has the best availability. Everyone who responded can make
it. I suggest we pick that day and combine it with either the 13th or the
15th to make this a two day meeting.

Let us know if that works for booking space at Microsoft Parashuram! If so,
the rest of us can start booking flights.

Thanks, this works well! Can you follow through with the [recommended
contributor workflow](http://cordova.apache.org/#contribute) then update this
pull request to match the corresponding issue that you create in
[Jira](https://issues.apache.org/jira/) to make sure this fix is seen by the
correct people?

Commenting out code is never the solution.
This file appears to desperately need a refactor anyway.
I don't know enough about the android native api to commit this change.
Maybe @infil00p or @csantanapr could have a look.

I dont know enough android either to fix it, all I know is that the op I
comment out is the one making trouble.

I think that the ops means to do an update into the whole
ContractData.RawContacts table, if its doing that, the query makes no sense.

Please stop hijacking other people's pull requests.
Your post is about the plugin itself, and not this code. Try

Cordova-JS on Master Issue

2015-08-19 Thread James Dubee
Hello,
I have noticed that in order to call npm install in cordova-js on Master,
users must have Visual Studio, and Python installed. This is due to the
contextify Node module now being used in cordova-js. Even though I have
both the mentioned requirements installed, I still am getting an error
during npm install. In addition, needing to have Visual Studio, and Python
installed even if you just want to do Android development is incredibly
inconvenient.

James Dubee

Leaving this comment here since there's nowhere to actually open issues for
these plugins.

This plugin DOES NOT work with iPad devices in iOS8 with landscape mode.
It causes the viewport to have both incorrect height and width in either
landscape or portrait mode.

[CI] Medic Update

2015-08-19 Thread Dmitry Blotsky
Hey folks,

Sorry for the lull in sending these updates. These past few weeks’ updates
regarding the CI:
- iOS build still failing due to CB-9483; Shazron did some investigating and
patching
- Windows Phone 8.1 builds have been failing because of some issues with
cordova-run
- Windows builds have been failing because of some issues with the slave machine
- Still waiting on INFRA-9811 and INFRA-9678 for PR integration with GitHub

Test status:
- 2 on Android on Windows
- 2 on Android on OS X
- iOS build breaking
- Windows builds breaking
- 0 on WP 8.1
- 0 on WP 8

Calls to action:
- fix the iOS build
- fix the Android failures
- connect slaves as per "[DISCUSS] CI Hardware” thread

Why are you exiting with a success status? The previous version exited

Probably should also change build.bat to return status code 1.

Document Translation to Korean

2015-08-19 Thread Youngho Cho
Hello all,

I am Youngho who live in Seoul, Korea.

Few years ago, I successfully finished my project with Cordova( 2.x age ).
And recently, I started to continue my project with Cordova.

In order to contribute to the cordova, I start to translate the
document to Korean at the Crowdin.
I am not professional translator but cordova user. But I think It is
more readable for Korean people compare with the machine translation.

During translation, I notice that Crowdin has also CLI tool also.
According to the cordova document ( cordova-docs\README.md ), in
order to use this tool with the cordova document, I need a project key
and the document say 'ask to the mailing list to get the key'.

I don't know that 'the mailing list' points which mailing list but I
guess this mailing list.
( I hope this mailing list is the right mailing list )

So I hope to translate with Crowdin CLI tool and I have to get a project key.
( I can say whenever I have a free time, I will translate the document
until it reaches some quality level )

How can I get the key?

You can see my name ( Youngho ) at the Unlisted CLAs page.

Thanks,

Youngho

Re: [mobilespec] cordova-filetransfer.jitsu.com - time for a new host

2015-08-19 Thread Steven Gill
I went ahead and through the script on the vm. cordova-vm.apache.org:5000.
Using forever to keep the script running. Updated file-transfer tests to
use the vm instead of nodejitsu. Seems to work but I have only tested using
paramedic so far. I'll try it on a device tomorrow.
