Request for help on cordova-plugin-touch-id plugin retry count change
Hi, I am using "cordova-plugin-touch-id" plugin to implement touch id functionality in my application. When I try with wrong finger print scanning after 3rd attempt plugin is responding like "Application retry limit exceeded". Is there a way to get call back response each time instead of waiting for 3rd failure attempt?. Where is the number of retries (3 and 5) are configured in plugin?. Is there a way to change these values to 1? In my application when the user tries with wrong finger I need to insert a DB record with failure attempt status after 5 failures i need to lock the user login. Please help me. Thanks, Eswar
Re: [DISCUSS] Supported iOS Versions
We dropped support for iOS 8 on cordova-ios 4.5 and as far as I remember, dropping iOS 9 was on the list of next major release schedule. [DISCUSS] Supported iOS Versions
The topic of supported iOS version came up in a docs PR recently [1]. I was surprised to find that we still support iOS 8. I imagine if someone came along with an issue on iOS 8, we wouldn't bother fixing it. In the Android docs, we say "As a general rule, Android versions become unsupported by Cordova as they dip below 5% on Google's distribution dashboard".[2] Should we adopt the same model for iOS? According to Apple[3], 95% of users are on iOS 10 or 11. I suggest that the next major version of cordova-ios only supports iOS 10+, and that in future we continue to follow this 5% rule across all platforms to lower our maintenance burden.
