Github user ephemer commented on the pull request: https://github.com/apache/cordova-ios/pull/133#issuecomment-88513471 @dpogue I was able to install the new version using `cordova platform update ios@4.0.x --usegit` â that didn't seem to update my CordovaLib though (which would include the swift bridging header etc). Any ideas, other than `cordova platform remove ios` and adding it again? My cordova build comes from a meteor project, so if I do that, I lose all the customisation that meteor adds. I can't see a way of telling meteor which cordova iOS platform version to use. --- If your project is set up for it, you can reply to this email and have your reply appear on GitHub as well. Github user shazron commented on the pull request: https://github.com/apache/cordova-ios/pull/133#issuecomment-78000891 I know the change is due, but this requires more than a pull request. I've brought it up before (over half a year ago) so it might be time to bring it up again in the dev mailing list. For now, for Swift support, you can follow how this was done by using a plugin hook: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-8254 --- If your project is set up for it, you can reply to this email and have your reply appear on GitHub as well. GitHub user cjpearson opened a pull request: https://github.com/apache/cordova-ios/pull/133 CB-7428: Enable Swift development of Plugins I've included the changes listed under CB-7428 into the template projects. As part of these changed, I've moved up the minimum deployment target to iOS 7.0 ( a requirement for Swift.) It's also been over a year since iOS 5 support was dropped. I've been testing with this [example plugin](https://github.com/edewit/cordova-plugin-hello/tree/swift). With these changes you can now add Swift plugins without changing any settings in Xcode. You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running: $ git pull https://github.com/cjpearson/cordova-ios CB-7428 Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at: https://github.com/apache/cordova-ios/pull/133.patch To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch with (at least) the following in the commit message: This closes #133 commit 40fab32f7a44f50c04758d2bb758df3fbc4a840a Author: Connor Pearson Date: 2015-03-09T22:40:40Z CB-7428: Update deployment target to 7.0 commit e078969543ba82465ec024b692896c0418c76051 Author: Connor Pearson Date: 2015-03-09T23:07:53Z CB-7428: Add bridging header.
