Joe Bowser commented on CB-1845:
OK, how many people out there have an HTC Incredible, HTC Desire HD or some
other HTC device that is on Android 2.3.x that has HTC Sense? I'm guessing it's
still quite a lot based on the old pie chart of Android versions. Given that
the WebSettings.setNavDump() setting is literally there just for these people
so they can have a hope in hell of debugging it, I'd lean towards reflection.
WebSettings.setNavDump() has been removed from API 17

Key: CB-1845
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1845
Project: Apache Cordova
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Android
Affects Versions: 2.3.0
Reporter: Simon MacDonald
Assignee: Joe Bowser
We've known that WebSettings.setNavDump() has been deprecated for awhile now.
In API level 17 (Android 4.2) the code has been removed so you cannot compile
Cordova with API level 17. The class CordovaWebView will throw an error due
to out call to setNavDump.
Not sure if we want to just out and out remove it, my preference, or use some
funky reflection to see if the method is available then call it.
