There's a CVE in Jackson 2.11.x that isn't fixed, so it probably makes
sense to upgrade to 2.13.x?

Re: Releases soon?

2022-04-08 Thread Daniel Kulp

Andriy,

I just tried pushing the update to 1.6.6 to 3.4.x, but it’s failing in the
Karaf validation. 1.6.6 apparently requires Jackson 2.13 whereas 3.4 uses
2.11.Thus, the choice is to also upgrade Jackson or keep on 1.6.5. Any
thoughts?

Hello Dan,

I did a rollback[1], sorry for inconvinience. Also I'll check the
right way for wiremock-maven-plugin upgrade.

Update:

I’ve been struggling to build 3.3.x and so far have not been able to. The
upgrade to "microprofile.rest.client 1.4.1” has caused the build to completely
fail building the samples in a way I really don’t understand yet. The
problem is definitely with the wiremock-maven-plugin in the
systests/microprofile/client/weld directory. Prior to the update, there was a
comment in the pom:

Hey Colm,

+1 to release, I will try to get https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CXF-8242
in as well
today / tomorrow but it is not a blocker anyway. Thanks!

Best Regards,
Andriy Redko
