Requesting this right for issues in the Fortress project.

I made you administrator of the FC JIRA, so you may be able to assign
issues to yoruself.

Just tell me if it's not working.

[Fortress] JIRA migration status

2014-10-28 Thread Emmanuel Lécharny
Hi guys,

I have finished the old JIRA migration. The old issues are all stored in
a web page (http://directory.staging.apache.org/fortress/issues.html)
with all the content (no need to tell that it was a BORING task).

There are still a few issues that need to be reinjected as is in the new
JIRA, because they aren't resolved :
https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-151
https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-150
https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-111

https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-8
https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-7
https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-3

Shawn, you may tell me which one of them are closed, so that I don't
have to recreate them in the new JIRA.

For some unknown issues, there are missing issues that can't be
retrieved in JIRA :

https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-5
https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-55
https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-58
https://fortress.atlassian.net/browse/FC-62

I have no idea why they are missing...

I'll keep you updated.

Thanks !

Great work. The unresolved ones remaining should be evaluated for relevance
and recreated in the JIRA if still applicable. I will do this.

We have to close the old JIRA now, to avoid having someone adding some
new issue into it, and inform OpenLDAP about the migration (we might
want to wait for the 3 other projects to be migrated though)

Thanks !

[Fortress] Jira...

2014-10-24 Thread Emmanuel Lécharny
Hi guys,

three things here...

o I have now added roles to the FORTRESS-CORE Jira. The
directory-administrators can administrate the project.
o we need to define a scheme for release number. I suggest we start with
1.0.0-RC40, from 1.0.0-RC39, which is the last packaged version, for the
sake of continuity. The next release would be a 1.0.0 (ie, a definitive
version).
o I'm now copying the old JIRA to a page on our site :
http://directory.staging.apache.org/fortress/issues. It will take a bit
of time until all the old JIRAs are present on this page, but I do that
on my spare time, when my brain is too dead to do anything more valuable
(ie, when I have an insomnia, etc).

Wdyt ?
