Re: [documentation-dev] Base videos

2007-09-04 Thread Frank Peters

David,
sorry for the delay. I was out on vacation.

Andrew,
I will put the flash files on doc.oo.o so don't worry
about the hosting

I will put them in the tutorials section for now,
you can see them once the commit has finished (large files):
http://documentation.openoffice.org/tutorials/index.html

I need to get these made more public. Frank has a copy of them in flash
which can be downloaded from:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=646AZN58
If any one has any space to host them I would be grateful. In the down
load are individual files as well as a web-menu system using Camtasia
for hosting on the net. You can use the individual files to create an
auto-run CD Which I have an ISO for that in Windows but not Linux. IF
you would like to create an auto-run CD from the flash files in Linux it
would be appreciated.

Re: [documentation-dev] Base videos

2007-09-04 Thread Andrew Jensen
Great - I did get up and download the files ( well, about half ) from the
ShowMeDo site last night. In the long run doc.oo.o is most likely the best
place - since downloading them from ShowMeDo seemed to require an acceptance
that I link back to the site for many purposes of display to the public.

Guy's I keep saying I have 3 versions of the files An ISO, Flash files,

I put the webmenu system on doc.oo.o under tutorials and
also linked to the individual SWF files that the webmenu is
referring to.

Later in the game we may offer an iso image for an autorun
CD but I think the flash files would be sufficient.

You didn't say whether you had a copy of the files or do you want me to
send them to you.

Let me know if this is of interest to you.

Yes, sure, very much so. I'll have a look at the videos
tomorrow. Is the location stable so we can link to it
from the documentation pages?

And yes, I think we could host the iso. Any chance we
could make it available for UNIXes?
