Re: Wikipedia page Apache Fineract

2020-03-14 Thread Ankit Sharma
Gerald, the Mifos X page was not up to the guidelines of Wikipedia.
I believe our effort towards Apache Fineract page should be up to the mark
with Wikipedia guidelines to avoid such soft deletion.
Last year I and some of my team members tried to contribute to Mifos X page
but its sad that it finally got a deletion notice.
We need to come together as a community to get Apache Fineract Wikipedia
page published.
The most important aspect of this job is to get highly credible sources as
citations to draft this page.

Wikipedia page Apache Fineract

2020-03-13 Thread Ankit Sharma
Hello everyone,
I wish to explore whether we can all contribute to a wikipedia page for
Apache Fineract.
Mifos Initiative already has a Wikipedia page which also requires
substantial editing as per wiki guidelines. Unfortunately Mifos X wikipedia
page was deleted.

Would you like to contribute? All relevant projects such as Apache Hadoop
have prominent wikipedia pages.

This exercise may take close to 3-4 months.

If we can collect all necessary Press release, viable sources and secondary
sources, news articles for the purposes of citation for Apache Fineract
page This may also include articles published mentioning partners,
independent developers and case studies etc.

Please send the links in this email thread if you would like to contribute.
