Setup for patching

2015-03-02 Thread Dany Dhondt
Hi,

Can someone tell me how to setup FB for working with the repository sdk please?

- I've cloned the repository with terminal.
- I've checked out to develop branch
- I want to make a patch

How do I setup Flash Builder at this stage?
Do I have to add the flex-sdk folder somewhere?

Thx for helping out

Dany

RE: [FLEXUNIT, TLF] Problem with applying appropriate data for tests

2015-03-02 Thread piotrz
One solution which came up to my mind is create for every test's methods data
loader.

So for example if we have two test methods which has some configuration:

"checkfirstBaselineOffset" and "checkColumnWidthOnGapChangeTest"

I will create -> https://paste.apache.org/7Qka

Re: [DISCUSS] Flex Doc Donation

2015-03-02 Thread Nicholas Kwiatkowski
My goal is to have the docs added to our site, just like the asdocs. We
could also offer them as a separate download for each release we do as
well, so people can keep them locally.

I know Adobe still supports certain clients under contract -- which is why
the Forums still exist. I don't know if there have been any discussions
about them taking those down at this point.

+1 to accepting the donation. There are some gems in there for new people.
Obviously we need to update it, however there will also be stuff to remove from
there as well.Should we add the content from the pages to our wiki vs
adding them as our site[1] as sub content? Reason being it allows a wider
audience to modify it.

BTW they still have a flex forum [2] setup. Should we be having that

Hi Folks,

Looks like Adobe will be able to donate most of the content found here
[1]. Some images will be removed as well as the Adobe stuff you see
around the edges of the screen, but essentially, the text content will be
donated.

Nick K is itching to scrub it all into an Apache Flex version.

Can anybody think of a reason Apache Flex should not accept this donation?

What happened to this commit? The diff looks like you completely
replaced the entire contents of the file... While the subject suggests
you only changed the name of one of the variables?

Maybe revert and try to create a more readable diff?
