Re: contributing to flume
Hi Arvind, I am also in a similar situation. I have a patch for https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-2787, and would like it peer reviewed. Any help with the process is greatly appreciated. Hi Arvind, I'm in a similar situation with patch FLUME-2781 I've been reading http://www.apache.org/dev/contributors.html but doesn't explain much about what is the process for review and acceptance. Re: contributing to flume
Hi Eran, I added you to the contributors list and assigned the Jira to you. You should be able to make the status changes yourself. contributing to flume
Hi, I am new to flume and want to be able to contribute to flume. I opened a jira issue (flume-2802) but I can't assign it to me so I can't change the status to get the patch reviewed. Can someone help here? Eran -- Eran | "You don't need eyes to see, you need vision" (Faithless)
Interested in contributing to flume
Hello everyone, I was looking to contribute to open source hadoop projects and came across Flume. I am really interested in contributing to Flume. I have been going through the JIRA's and have my flume setup ready. I have identified a couple of JIRA's with "newbie" label, which someone generously tagged to help identify for someone new like me. I don't see any comments for this: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-1837 and I just wanted to ask if its fine that I go ahead and take it up. Also, whenever I click Agile Board, it throws the following exception: *Cause: * java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The Project argument and its backing generic value must not be null Looking forward towards working with the community. Thanks, Shivendra
