Just noticed the "licenses" directory in
https://github.com/apache/incubator-griffin/tree/master/licenses.

Are the files in that directory copied to LICENSE file in the root of the
project?

Re: [VOTE] Release of Apache Griffin-0.2.0-incubating [RC1]

2018-03-20 Thread Henry Saputra
LICENSE file exists
NOTICE file exists
DISCLAIMER file exists
Signature file looks good
Hash files look good
Source compiled.
No 3rd part exes in source artifact

+1 (binding)

Looks like from new packaging guidelines, we should not provide MD5 for
future releases:

 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MD5#Overview_of_security_issues

But as long as it is accompanied by another hash file we should be oK.

Do you have the original file to create this PNG file?

Will need to also upload that to our source code once it  is being "approved"

Re: [RESULT][VOTE] Release of Apache Griffin 0.1.5-incubating [rc3]

2017-07-13 Thread Henry Saputra
Just mini correction, the use of binding VOTES here not actually correct,
since we are still in incubator, only VOTE from member of IPMCs are binding
until we graduated to top level project (TLP).

Thats when member of PMC of Griffin VOTEs will be considered as binding.

Hello Roy,

Welcome to Apache Griffin. We are still moving things around as part of
bootstrapping process so please be patient with us a bit longer then we
will announce more stuff to do in this dev list.

For now, you can take a peek on our existing code and start guide from our
current repo:
