Re: [DISCUSS] About the topics and time for next meetup
Not sure if folks would feel repetitive, but since the Community over Code was not recorded/live streamed, I am wondering if we could use this as an opportunity to repeat some of the talks in the conference. Re: [DISCUSS] About the topics and time for next meetup
Thanks, Stephen. I'm +1 for the two regional meetups proposal. As per the topics suggested above, I think all are relevant. Some extra thoughts on those: 1) Roadmap - Do we have any roadmap currently published anywhere? - If not, we could use the meetup to start listing what development tasks folks are currently working on or what would be nice to have. 2) Attract more contributors - Maybe survey the user/dev lists or other hbase forums for folks willing to contribute? 3) Contribute/Housekeeping - We could agree to try cleanup stalled jira's/github cleanup; - Maybe redesign the website and documentation? Would be nice to have a "designer" contributor... For those interested in having/attending a virtual meetup, we could start to share the available time range/timezone. Mine would be between 10AM and 4PM in UTC+1.
