I want to second that too. The difference it makes to be able to "svn
diff" and "svn st" without sending packets round the world a few times
is just immense, it really makes the development process more enjoyable.
Thank you thank you thank you!

Indeed, others will find they have received 'out-of-date' mail from me
as well.

*blush*

The instructions ended up not to be so detailed, but hey :)

Thanks again Justin,

Just to be clear, Sander's email that you are replying to was an artifact
of the busted network at Alexis Park. The conversion is now complete and
live at:

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/
Sander should be following up with detailed instructions soon-ish. But,
alas, I think he fell asleep at the keyboard once again this morning. ;-)

Regarding the tags/1.3 subdir, those are the complete tags for the 1.3
series. Our conversion got royally messed up due to the docs files as they
contain overlapping tags with the 1.3 repository. So, I've cleared out
most of the bogus tags in the tags/ directory and I need to move all of the
'real' 1.3 tags into the tags/ dir.

I hope that makes some sense - if not, take a look at the repository in
about 24-48 hours and it'll make more sense... =) -- justin

Looks basically fine. I'm wondering a bit about the tags directory, especially
the 1.3 subdir. Is it necessary, is there something broken?

If noone raises any issues we'll load it in the main repository in

I would like to publicly THANK Sander and Justin for their

Hi again,

The actual load seems to be working now (save the documentation...).
Given that this wasn't a smooth ride, we've loaded things in the
test repository. Please take a look at it:

  http://svn.apache.org/repos/test/httpd/

If noone raises any issues we'll load it in the main repository in
36 hours.
