Yeah, just boot it out of the nest and see what bugs are reported. I guess
that would be a +1 for me. Awesome job Clinton... this is ALL you.

2009-08-04 Thread Clinton Begin
Current process is to vote for beta releases. Although, we can change that.

The funny thing is that the vote is supposed to stay open for 24
hours, and that's exactly how long it takes for the mirrors to update.
Hmmm it's almost designed to work that way. :-)

Besides, I'm not a comic book villain. Do you seriously think I would
explain my master stroke to you if there were even the slightest
possibility you could affect the outcome? I uploaded the build 9 hours
ago.[1] ;-)

+1 for me. I've given it a fair shakedown with Ibator.

One thing I was hoping for that I forgot to ask about - how about
support for multiple parameter objects? Seems like it would be fairly
simple.

Re: [VOTE] Release iBATIS 3.0 for Java Beta 1

2009-08-04 Thread Clinton Begin
Yes,

In fact, I really owe Jeff a lot of thanks, as he put in a lot of time
submitting unit tests and fixing bugs. So THANKS JEFF!!!

As for multiple parameter objects... I thought long and hard about
this... and there's just no nice way to implement it without either
adding a really ugly annotation, or waiting until Java supports
introspection on parameter names.

So for now... create a map for multiple params, as we've always done.
Speaking of which, map and list literals would also be an awesome
feature of ibatis.

Cheers,
Clinton
