We do have free YourKit licenses (well, I do - any committer can get one 
for open source use only). A request of the makers is acknowledgement of 
that - which is what this paragraph is there for.

Perhaps a bit more neutral text would be appropriate, though.

In Taverna's attribution for a similar free (as in beer) license we simply
say:

I'm not sure that a definitive list is going to get maintained.  Or 
indeed is correct (where does it stop? Maven plugins? java? Linux?!)


The specific issue/request is from YourKit and the requests is now less 
than it was (they used to suggest words).
