JMeter cmd files

2017-10-27 Thread Antonio Gomes Rodrigues
Hi,

In a lot of bin/*.cmd file, we can read:

"Sorry, this command file requires Windows NT/ 2000 / XP"

Is this file need to be updated or deleted?

e.g.

Re: [Bug 61672] HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder : When a prefix is set don't use path in Sampler Name

2017-10-27 Thread Philippe Mouawad
Hi Antonio,
I think we need to make this configurable in Test Script Recorder.
Because I and many other people do fill in the "Prefix" that I consider a
Transaction Name before every click.
In this case having the path added is annoying as you need to cleanup
afterwards.

But you use it differently and your way is also interesting.

So I suggest we add an option to decide how we use it.

Agree ?

Re: Having a globalVariables shared accross threads

2017-10-27 Thread Philippe Mouawad
Hello Andrey,
I like the proposals:

- any variable starting with "global:" is global
- JMeterVariables class modification, which would delegate all variables
with "global:" prefix into global thread-safe map.

Thanks for your ideas !

Bugzilla 61466 / PR 313

2017-10-27 Thread Philippe Mouawad
Hello Team,
What's your thoughts on the proposed PR ?

My opinion is the following:

   - It is probably interesting to have some metadata on particular
   samplers reported in tests
   - Using comment looks after further thinking a bit hacky
   - I propose as an alternative to add a Metadata property that would be
the second column next to Comment field. If it's filled then it is added.
By default CSV/XML will not save it.

Thoughts ?
Thanks
