[DISCUSS] KIP-948: Allow custom prefix for internal topic names in Kafka Streams
Hi everyone, I would like to start a discussion on the following KIP: KIP-948: Allow custom prefix for internal topic names in Kafka Streams https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/KIP-948%3A+Allow+custom+prefix+for+internal+topic+names+in+Kafka+Streams The goal is to provide greater flexibility in naming internal topics. The main issue is that it affects Kafka Streams application reset tool (as described in the KIP), so I guess the pros and cons should be weighed to decide if this proposal makes sense. Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks! Igor Buzatović Porsche Digital Croatia d.o.o.

RE: Re: [VOTE] KIP-714: Client Metrics and Observability
+1 We also have a lot of clients using our central Kafka cluster, and it would be great to have client metrics so we can provide end-to-end monitoring.
