Translators can easily broke tags in helpcontent2, these errors are not
visible to po2oo (you mean po2oo?). Or it is something changed (I use
maybe an old version).

Wouldn't it be better to look at automating the checkin of PO files and
then the resultant SDF is built from them at build time?  That way PO
files are checked in not SDF files.

some issues on helpcontent2 in the past.  Any issues are bugs and should
be reported.

That said an automated running of gsicheck would prevent silly issues.

By that do you mean XML tags in helpcontent2?  They can't be protected,
but if they are altered they will show up as xmltags test failures.  So
ideally you should review those failures.
