There is some (outdated) information on the wiki:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/NLC
http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/scdocs/ProjectOwnerEdit.html
http://www.openoffice.org/styles/
http://www.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddSSHGuide

Basically, you need to create OpenOffice.org account, join the
Native-Language Confederation and ask for site to be created on the
mailing list, create an issue and upload your SSH dsa key.

Once the key is approved you create CVS tunnel and commit web pages.
Your pages will be parsed and inserted in the OOo website style shell.
There are many (unpublished?) tips and tricks with HTML, CSS and
JavaScript to make website more sane and customizable. The best way is
to checkout other websites from CVS and see how it was done so you can
replicate.

With your site you will also have mailing lists, announcements with RSS
feed support, space for hosting documents etc. These features are
described in the scdocs (the second link in the list above).

You should subscribe to d...@website.openoffice.org mailing list for all
your questions on the website development and
d...@native-lang.openoffice.org for discussion inside Native-Lang
Confederation and moderat...@openoffice.org if you want to use mailing
lists in your project.

native-language project lead

Re: [l10n-dev] If anyone's missing a Norwegian translation.

2010-08-17 Thread Ivo Hinkelmann

Hi Olav,

can you please file a issue to "vg" so he can integrate this file in the
next l10n cws? It is much easer to track the status if you use the issue
tracker.

Thanks,
Ivo

It has been stated many times in this list that new version of pootle will be
implemented after the end of the current l10n round.
There is also another mailing list for pootle-related issues:
to...@l10n.openoffice.org

I do agree with this.

I heard somewhere that this feature is in newer version of pootle.

[l10n-dev] Deleting wrongly uploaded files in Pootle (Was: Re: [l10n-dev] Fwd: Please delete DataAccess.po uploaded in wrong location)

Hi,

OK, sorry, I can't resist now.

Every other day I have to read two or three requests like this one.

System where you can:

- upload file to bad location (we have POT, so we KNOW possible
locations for uploads before!)

- you can't fix your own mistake (re-upload newer version or DELETE
wrongly uploaded file)

is unusable by normal people because people DO mistakes.

Please fix this bug!
