Any translation fixes done now will get into the next builds right? We
have yet to confirm whether the current build is technically sane, but
I've implemented some fixes for typo's here which have to be included.

Who's the most skilled, seasoned, knowledgeable and enthusiastic among

[l10n-dev] Some of the templates seems to be broken.

2010-07-12 Thread Olav Dahlum
Hi list.

I seem to be running into problems with the 3.3 m0 templates here. File
> Properties... > Security

"Note: After a password is set..."

The first line is present in the .sdf file, but where's the rest of it?
oo2po also seems unable to extract the part of it that exist from the .sdf.
Didn't work out well for me in m83 or m84 either... Anyone else with the
same problems?

Please take this into consideration at the upcoming release meeting 3.00 PM.

False positives from gsicheck is quite normal, but when the strings
aren't extracted or in the wrong places, it poses a real problem with
releases. I tend you notice these things as I've made my own builds for

The "sdext/source/minimizer/help/component.txt" file needs to be
localized if the extension descriptor should follow whatever OOo itself
is configured to use. I dunno why the .odt files are present, when
they're clearly not used for anything. Take a look at the PDF importer
and Presentation Console. Both also part of the source tree, see the
difference?

Yes, the amount should be fixed, so what's going on... Could be
incorrectly merged files, missing ones, etc. Or the Pootle statistics is
plain wrong.
Regarding the identical strings; hopefully these can be reused more in
future releases, but that would mean rewriting parts of the source code,
which probably isn't high on the list for this issue.
