Re: [l10n-dev] Amount of strings for 2nd round?

2009-09-22 Thread Uwe Fischer

Hi,

in m60, the following CWSs are integrated:

CWS integrated: a11y32, ab74, adc25, automationdev300m57cat0, aw077,
boost134, calc32stopper1, cloph13, cmcfixes63, defaultdoclang, dr69,
dtrans2vcl, encsig09, fwk115, fwk116, impressaccessibility3,
impressaccessibility4, impressnotes01, impressnotes02, jskhgpilot3,
kso32fixes2, l10nframework01, locales32, mba32issues02, mingwport24,
native267, odficons, os136, sb113, sw32bf03, tkr25, vcl105.

of these, I know of Help changes in encsig09 and impressnotes02.

in previous m59, the following CWSs are integrated:

CWS integrated: ab70, changehc, chart41, chartuseability01, cms11a11y,
dba32g, dv14, dv15, extras320, hb32bugs02, hcshared23, iconupdate320,
impress176, jl131, mh232, mingwport23, notes10, odff06, odfmetadata3,
os2port06dev300, tkr24.

of these, I know of Help changes in chartuseability01 and hcshared23.
The rollback of many unexpected Help changes that were visible in m59
was part of CWS hcshared23. The master m60 contains all the Help changes
that were made in m59, less the changes that we could roll back in CWS
hcshared23.

Hi,

do we have an estimation, how many strings will be new / changed in the
second translation round for the tems who use pootle.

(Means new / changed strings between m54 and UI freeze.)

the word count _estimates_ I currently have say around 50,000 words. The m60
will be the milestone which includes the content for the 3.2 release and we
will be using this to update Pootle.
Up until I have seen the m60, it's very difficult to give exact numbers.

I'll prepare an l10n schedule and post it to the list.

Thanks,
Rafaella

Hi,

when updating from m56 (which is same as m55 as far as strings are
concerned, because m56 introduced only fonts support) there are like
1760 changed (or fuzzy from translation memory) and around 160 new
ones. At least that is what I got.

I do not remember what the difference between m55 and m54 was.
