Re: [l10n-dev] Converting an aspell -- Hunspell
Hi Neskie, Weytk, I created a basic aspell dictionary [1] withouth suffix/affix information for Secwepemctsin, but would like to create a hunspell dicitonary to get it working in OpenOffice.org and Firefox. Does anyone have any suggestions or pointers? I read this site [2] and was wondering if perhaps I don't need to create an affix file just yet in the same way I didn't with aspell. This weekend I'll experiment a bit. You better ask those questions again in the lingucomponent mailing list. There you can find the experts. AFAIK you will need an affix file since at least the encoding of the dictionary file is provided in the affix file only. This weekend I'll experiment a bit. Also a note to add is that I found aspell's adding a new language tutorial very informative and easy to follow [3] There were sets of scripts that did much of the work, and in the end an easily installed and distributable package. Is created. Is this something that is being worked on in the hunspell front? -Neskie [1] - http://git.debian.org/?p=users/neskie-guest/aspell-shs.git;a=snapshot;h=94f230ef8e275eb538cbecd6e1acd9efca0b12d1;sf=tgz [2] - http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/dictionary.html [3] - http://aspell.net/0.50-doc/man-html/7_Adding.html - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@l10n.openoffice.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@l10n.openoffice.org
