I have the similar problems with that (m84).

The gsicheck reports errors but I when I check the tanslation files and notice 
that the tags in source file and translation files are the same.

 oo2po also seems unable to extract the part of it that exist from the .sdf.

 Please take this into consideration at the upcoming release meeting 3.00

False positives from gsicheck is quite normal, but when the strings
aren't extracted or in the wrong places, it poses a real problem with
releases. I tend you notice these things as I've made my own builds for
a while now.
