History question: contribution from Solr to Lucene
Hi, I am trying to understand what used to be in Solr pre-merge and got moved into Lucene packages after the projects merged. For example analyzers/tokenizers, were they always in Lucene or all originally in Solr? I am not sure where to check this quickly, so I am hoping people can do a short history or a good URL. Alex, You should follow Yonik’s blog (Heliosearch), he has a post on this subject, more or less: http://heliosearch.org/lucene-solr-history/ ~ David Smiley Freelance Apache Lucene/Solr Search Consultant/Developer http://www.linkedin.com/in/davidwsmiley On Sun, Nov 2, 2014 at 8:36 PM, Alexandre Rafalovitch arafa...@gmail.com wrote: Hi, I am trying to understand what used to be in Solr pre-merge and got moved into Lucene packages after the projects merged.
