service on your SharePoint instance as per the documentation. That will fix

As Ahmet's explanation, i am a little bit confused about the service names. Because GetPermissionCollection and GetListCollection are just methods of the services. Is there any problem about the service names. As I told Ahmet, all of the WSDL/SOAP interaction is handled by Apache Axis as far as the SharePoint connector is concerned. I believe Axis calls all URLs to which a SOAP transaction can be directed to be a service. Axis appears to be unhappy about certain services here - but clearly nowhere near all of them. So my conclusion was/is that this has to do with a mismatch between the Axis-generated classes that talk to services for the connector, and the actual services provided by each .asmx on the SharePoint server. I've asked a colleague with a test SharePoint 2010 setup to check if he sees the same thing. The reason I asked Ahmet to check if indexing is actually taking place is because I suspect that these errors are in fact warnings, because the SharePoint connector does not even use the methods in question. If there is no functional problem, it seems that it is immaterial whether there's a mismatch or not. It would still be good to understand where the problem lies, however. We came up two solutions right now. First is removing dspsts service fully and
replace it with lists.asmx service however this would break backward

I am thinking to somehow transform GetListItemsResponseGetListItemsResult to
RepositoryDocument and embed this logic into current code.
Are we on the right track?
Also we found that there is a special web service (SiteData.asmx) to capture
incremental delta changes and whole structure of sp sitecollection. Current
code doesn't make use of this service. Do you think we should try to integrate
this service?

First, I'm more than happy to add support to the connector to allow you to select version 4.0 in addition to versions 2.0 and 3.0. I'll go ahead and do that now in the CONNECTORS-470 branch. Second, since the response document for the Lists-based services differs in format from the response document for the DspSts-based equivalent services, I would refactor to try to pull the interpretation of the response XML document into the getDocuments() method. I'll be happy to commit that change also to the branch. Once that's done it should be much easier to create a complete patch, do you agree?
