Not formal. We have been using an informal guide but obviously now  
that the trademark is official a more formal one is required.

I agree. As a Danish OOo MarCon, I feel there's a need for more

with you!


What would either of you propose? I'm all for more coordination among  
the various groups.  So are the MP leads, I imagine.  I tend to  
travel among the various NLC groups and have noted that though  
organic identity helps it also requires a lot of energy to sustain.   
Having a global effort that is coordinated can help everyone. But...  
what would you suggest as a concrete activity? Remember, our goal is  
not just to get people to use OOo but also to contribute to it; we  
market not just the product but also the project.

2.0 is right around the corner. Let's target 12 October as a  
deadline, to get things ready for 13 October, our anniversary.


So far, we are working on:

* PR: in production.

* Website is ready--unless someone from art wants to draw an Otto  
peeping out of the egg, no change. If you do want to do that, cool!


* Marketing specific things:

[Marketing] Scheduled Downtime 1 October 2005

OpenOffice.org will undergo a scheduled downtime from Saturday 2005-10-01 15:00 
UTC to 2005-10-02 03:00 UTC.

We will post a page with download sites during the downtime.

But all mail lists, Issue Tracker, and CVS will be offline during this period.  

I apologise for the late notice and the inconvenience this will cause.
