Yes let's make sure every journal and every news outlet knows that MS is
planning to copy the OpenOffice.org file system. Why wait for MS when
you can have it now?

But is it copying?  The only thing it looks like they are copying is
the idea that XML will be in a ZIP file.  I doubt that the files will
be interoperable, but I am sure that some programmers will get
openoffice to open them easily. :)

I wonder how much of this MS move has to do with the pressure comming from the
EU choossing XML-based documents over binary, blocking office any possibility
to compete from office suites not using XML.
