With the OpenOffice.org fan page on Facebook already, which has been growing
steadily, we're off to a decent start. (It's nearing 4,000 fans right now:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/OpenOfficeorg/7528707175 )

I think an official or semi-official Twitter account would be a great
complement to it. We do have http://twitter.com/openoffice and
http://twitter.com/OpenOfficeorg which could fill the need with a little bit of
a push to formalize one or the other as the primary account for OOo on Twitter.

Hi,

Doing a quick search for like named or described accounts gets this list:

http://twitter.com/drewjensen/ooo-tweets

I like how the OpenOffice.org Peru account links back to a parallel facebook
fan page. I think there is another one or two like that.

Hi Florian,

In the mass follwer situation, we can promote easy and get more feedbacks.
I feel it will be good tow way marketing media mix.

I think you have to get the offficial account as a marketig lead
as like as marketingopenofficeorg , and so on.

And also I think you have to regist the hashtag to registration site
as like as # OOoMarketing , # OOo10th ,and so on.

Best,
Katsuya

thanks, this looks nice! The we don't have this at www.openoffice.org,
as we don't have an official twitter account. Most people, like myself,
have their own Twitter accounts where they also post stuff about OOo.
