Hi Ivan, I thought it was Septermber 16th [1] + 2 weeks, but it doesn't matter if the fixed release date is not known yet - when we do know, the countdown can be added to the homepage. yes, I agree. :-) Do you know of a script that can be used? Popular Linux distros, such as Ubuntu [1] and Fedora [2] have used this approach, and given OOo's increasing popularity, I think it would help raise awareness about the new release. Your thoughts? that would be a good idea - but we can only do it as soon as we know a fixed release date...
