There seems to be a bit of that kind of spamming alslo happening with the templates. Document templates are a great resource for users as well as a marketing tool. http://templates.services.openoffice.org/ The templates database might be re-arranged to start highlighting OOo templates or, more generally, ODF templates. Some of the legacy document templates are valuable and should not be removed, but nonetheless clearly marked as legacy and relegated to a lower profile until they get upgraded.
