Brett Porter updated MASSEMBLY-2:
-

Fix Version: 2.1

TAR produces warning messages for over 100 cahrs in path name
 -

  Key: MASSEMBLY-2
  URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MASSEMBLY-2
  Project: Maven 2.x Assembly Plugin
 Type: Bug

 Reporter: Jeff Genender
  Fix For: 2.1

TAR produces warning messages for over 100 cahrs in path name. This is due
to the default value of the longname parameter in the ant tar task. It
defaults as warn. This parameter should be exposed to the assembly.xml
somehow so that it can be set to gnu or other in order to turn off the
 warning.
