Re: Where is the KEYS file that I can add my key to?
I agree. All stuff related to the development (coding rules, releases, ) should be shared between all projects (m1, m2, scm, the list is long). And we have to use them ;-) Arnaud On 9/6/06, Jason van Zyl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: On 6 Sep 06, at 6:44 AM 6 Sep 06, Arnaud HERITIER wrote: > Yes, we have to update this page with the new location and the sync > script. > But be careful, on the legal ml I learned that we mustn't sign our > artifact > on apache hardware which was what I described :-( > I think Dennis was going to work on this too so maybe collect everything and then all Maven projects can link to it. It should be in SVN but not in the m1 repository anymore. They are the same. Arnaud synced them in July. We should probably move it to the top of the SVN where everyone has access. Sound good The first one seems right for me. Do I just append my key to that file on people.a.o? Let's keep in SVN and copy that version to dist/maven/KEYS OK Is there anything else I need to do, like building a web-of-trust? That bit is somewhat vague to me. You need to do that in person with people by exchanging ID and PGP fingerprints. Typically we have little key signing events at ApacheCon. Cool Also, is there a document similar to this but for Maven 2: http://maven.apache.org/maven-1.x/developers/making-releases.html We could probably do with one and put it on the main site for developers.
