I think it's a great idea. Ideally I would like the ftpserver to offer FTP, FTP with SSL and FTP with SSH all in one product. Even if they can't be bundled together it would be nice if they are both built off of same framework. I'm not sure how long it would take to get a production ready product out there but I know we have a use for it right now...
