Still a few things to look at with it before the final release, but should be good to announce the beta tomorrow after a little more checking. Of course, if you're itching to test and/or check for glaring issues before beta announcement you can find it at https://builds.apache.org/job/netbeans-TLP/job/netbeans/job/release112/14/artifact/dist/ One thing we need to fix up later is the filenames - although it's at least more obvious when you run it now! Re: Status update on 11.2-beta1
That's great news. I love Netbeans. Is there hope that more community plug-ins, especially better docker tooling will be added in the next few releases? Eric particularly has done a lot of work on this over the last few months, and it is worth the immediate one-off hassle as it will make releases much easier to do in the future. It brings together release builds, Maven, branding, docs, etc. in one place. All being well, 11.2-beta1 will be available early next week. And in the meantime, daily builds are useful to test! Some conversations have been ongoing on PRs and in the netbeans-build slack channel at Apache, if you're interested. Status update on 11.2-beta1
Hi All, I know you're all anxiously waiting to test 11.2-beta1! Unfortunately, there are a few teething problems with the new Jenkins release pipeline, although we're getting close to solving them.
