One of my dreams for Apache NetBeans is that all processes are open and
understandable to everybody. In that light, it would be excellent to have a
full description of how to check out the website, i.e., all the
instructions to be on the NetBeans Confluence, probably right above
"NetBeans Logo" for now. Call it "NetBeans Website" and describe in
complete detail how to get hold of the sources of the Apache NetBeans
website.

A use case, for me, at least, would be I see a broken link and I want to
fix it. I'd like to have the sources of the website, find the broken link,
fix it, and push it live. Right now I have no idea how to do that and
instead of asking you would love to be able to do it myself.

2016-11-28 Thread Christian Lenz

I added the disclaimer text. I pushed to the git repo of the page to
apache-incubation. I didn't upload it yet to my host.
Let us create a ticket as Daniel mentioned.

Nice I see a mirroring to github :). Possible to push to github, that it will
mirroring back?

Christian, could you add this blurb in the newsletter section (under the
fold):

Apache NetBeans is an effort undergoing incubation at The Apache Software

It seems my user (emi) is not allowed to push to that repo.
