Hi Saumya,

For becoming a contributor, you will need to ask for "Jira contributor
access" as described in the Contributor Guide [1].
Please send over your jira user name and we can grant access to assign
the tickets to yourself.

Regards,
Peter Turcsanyi

RE: WARN message filling up nifi-app.log after upgraded to 1.17.0 from 1.15.3

2022-09-13 Thread Martin Fong
Chris,

Thanks for the information and we had to re-adjust the value inside the query
due to deprecation of the new avro library unfortunately. Ie: new syntax
within the schema.

"No. You said you upgraded from NiFi 1.15.3 to 1.17.0 and the warnings started
to appear in your logs. The change to Avro version used by NiFi happened as
part of NiFi 1.17.0. My guess, therefore, is that there was a deprecation
within the Avro library (upgraded from 1.8 to 1.11 within NiFi) and that's
where the warnings are coming from. I'd imagine you need to change any "date"
field within your Avro schemas. Are you using explicit schemas or are the
schemas being inferred by NiFi? If the latter, then maybe there's something
within NiFi to be addressed."
