Re: [VOTE] Release Apache NiFi 1.12.0

2020-08-17 Thread rstjohn67
Is it possible to document the NiFi properties that were removed in the release
notes or an "upgrading to …” page.  As an administrator it is difficult to know
which properties should removed during our upgrade process.

Re: [VOTE] Release Apache NiFi 1.12.0

2020-08-17 Thread rstjohn67
+1 (non-binding)

Compile and ran with Amazon Correttto Java 8 on OSX.  I had an issue getting
site-to-site to work between NiFi 1.11.4 and NiFi 1.12.0 in RAW mode
(non-secure) and had to switch to using HTTP.  The message on the Remote
Process Group read “Remote instance is not configured to allow RAW Site-to-site
communication at this time".  Are new configurations required to transmit Iva
Site-to-site in RAW mode?  I didn’t see anything in the docs or online.  Note
that I was running both versions on the same computer and modified the one
instance with the following properties.

nifi.web.http.port=8081
nifi.remote.input.socket.port=9991
