I marked all the methods in MenuEvents.java to synchronized and it seems to solve the issue. We could probably stand to do that for all the events. As an added bonus, the gui seems much snappier and responsive. I did fix the file. I guess I just can't keep myself from running a build one last time to make sure it works. I updated the patch to remove a println and I removed xpos.properties from this patch.
