I think it would be great to have a (multi-project) merchandising shop 
build on base of Apache OFBiz.


From the OFBiz community/product view it might help us to gain more 
attention and for the ASF it could be a good starting point for a 
central platform for merchandising and more.

ASF. I'm not sure if it will go anywhere but here goes.

This (and other important aspects) is definitely something they will have
to figure out if they are interested to the idea.
I guess that Sharan is going to explore this with them.

Yes,

Though there might be some reservations at ASF level to run a shop
organisation (with sales/purchase and warehousing/shipment staff, etc.) we
could help them start off with a one-stop solution where projects and/or
offices could make their products (stickers, t-shirts, giveaways, etc.)
visible to the interested parties, with link-throughs to project/office
sites, etc.

Who would own this (be responsible for) solutions/service?

If it is the project, then having it on the existing demo VM could make
sense. Otherwise another VM could make more sense.

admin access
