Re: NASA Open Source Summit
I think since the presentation was on slideshare.net, there is no recorded voice over. I think the play button in the middle is a tad misleading as it just advances the slides at a set interval like every 7 seconds. I like it Chris. I hope the feedback was positive and the breakout sessions productive. Cannot wait to hear back on how the presentation was received. -Cameron On Tue, Mar 29, 2011 at 4:56 PM, Davoodi, Faranak (388J) < faranak.davo...@jpl.nasa.gov> wrote: > Thanks Chris for sending us the link to your talk. Thanks Chris for sending us the link to your talk. However, when I try to play it, there is no sound. Should I download the whole file first? --Faranak On 3/29/11 4:37 PM, "Mattmann, Chris A (388J)" wrote: >Hey OODT Community, > >I just gave a talk on Open Source, Apache, and OODT at the NASA Open >Source Summit. > >The link to the talk is here: >http://www.slideshare.net/ckleclerc/nasaoss-mattmann > >Comments welcome! > >Cheers, >Chris > >++ >Chris Mattmann, Ph.D. >Senior Computer Scientist >NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Pasadena, CA 91109 USA >Office: 171-266B, Mailstop: 171-246 >Email: chris.a.mattm...@nasa.gov >WWW: http://sunset.usc.edu/~mattmann/ >++ >Adjunct Assistant Professor, Computer Science Department >University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA 90089 USA >++ >

Maven3 Update on OS X...and how to get back to Maven2
For everyone on this list who has been building OODT on a Mac, be sure to star, flag, save this email for later. If you haven't encountered the Maven 2 to Maven 3 gremlin yet, it will show up eventually. Here is a great blog post on the errors you might see and a really simple and straight forward way to revert back to Maven2. http://cyntech.wordpress.com/2011/03/09/maven-2-error/ Hope this helps. -Cameron -- Sent from a Tin Can attached to a String
