"You say..." What do you mean by this snotty attitude?

I realise it was not an Apache site.

I thought it might help you to know that there is a bloody swine operating
on Google under your name.

I imagined you might be grateful for the tip.

No? So go and get stuffed.

Please provide the exact URL that OpenOfice.org was downloaded from.

Corrections due to unnecessary backslash in XML

Hi -- I confirm that we've received your information. Our process is
to wait three days to see if there are any concerns

Text in the XML is in Italian and looks good. But I suggest the
following quick fixes:

1) In the XML you submitted, please use the correct product name:
"Apache OpenOffice".

2) In http://www.terea.it/product/open-office/ (last paragraph or page
footer) include the standard short formula for acknowledging the
OpenOffice trademarks. You can find in the footer of
http://openoffice.org and in Italian this would be:

Apache, il logo della penna di Apache e OpenOffice sono marchi di The
Apache Software Foundation. OpenOffice.org e il logo con i gabbiani sono
marchi registrati di The Apache Software Foundation.

3) Include a (TM) sign the first time you mention Apache OpenOffice in
your page.

Regards,
  Andrea.

If whatever it was you installed contained the malware you say, then it
was not Apache OpenOffice and you were hoodwinked into downloading from
a malicious website. Regrettably, this is something that Apache
OpenOffice is unable to prevent.

The only official download website is:
http://www.openoffice.org/download/index.html
The download link there will take you to the official SourceForge.net
servers.

Malware infection

2014-02-22 Thread John Barrett Rose

Dear Sirs,

On my recommendation, a friend in Salzburg tried to install
Openoffice.org on his iMac on Thursday 20 Feb and found it was infected
with Genieo malware including fake Adobe and fake Java installations.

Manage to clean out the mess, but it left me looking stupid as I have
had OO.org on my computer for several years without problems.

Be warned.

Listener forUnoControlListBoxModel awt python

2014-02-22 Thread Riccardo Arzenton
Hi to all,
In a openoffice macro in python i've defined a dropdown list like this.

dropDownList =
dialogModel.createInstance("com.sun.star.awt.UnoControlListBoxModel" )
dropDownList.PositionX = 30
dropDownList.PositionY  = 30
dropDownList.Width = 50;
dropDownList.Height = 14;
dropDownList.Name = "DDL";
dropDownList.Dropdown = True
dropDownList.MultiSelection = False
dropDownList.StringItemList =  ("1", "2", "3")

I've placed it in a dialog and it runs just fine.
But how can i write a listener (in python) that write the selected value in a
global variable?

Thanks to all

Re: Error in determine_new_packagename()

2014-02-22 Thread LOH KOK HOE
Dear all, I have the problem solve by using @Kay Schenk's suggestion,
download the EPM source, build it (there was a guideline included in the
source), and then set the --with-epm to the newly created EPM binary.

@pescetti,
I notice that the revision number of the fixed you sent to me is rather old
because when I issue the command `svn info | grep "Revision"`, I have this
output `Revision: 1568993`. Anyhow I'm currently have the workaround being
done for temporary. Hope there will be a fix in near future.

THanks @!

Hi all,

anything new here? Auto mime type recognition is really bad, not only
writer.ods affected, see "Bug 124293 - Section Range names truncated
from underscore to end in MSO .XLSX"
!

Best regards
