Re: Updated dictionaries (Portuguese/English)
Hi Mattias, all Meanwhile the Portuguese and the English dictionaries were updated. I committed to trunk. But for the 4.1.4 branch should we reopen https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127341 ? Since there were no changes in the extension code I believe that the latest version of the dictionary should always be included. Otherwise most people doing a fresh install of AOO (English is by far the most downloaded version) will immediately have to update an extension. This is obviously not a problem but seems unnecessary (an extra download and an extra install) Just my 2 cents. Sure you can... ;-) https://www.howtogeek.com/285082/how-to-run-windows-programs-from-windows-10s-bash-shell/ But the main problem is, that the scripts think they are on Linux, because they can't find Cygwin... > > But the tool as it self is interesting. Tested the Ubuntu command lind to replace Cygwin as build system
Hi all Matthias mentioned the new Ubuntu command line system on Windows for building AOO on Windows. At the moment we use Cygwin for this. I invest some time in it, and found out, that this is not a solution. The problem, You can't start a windows program out of the Ubuntu command line. So you won't be able to start MSVC from the buildscript. But the tool as it self is interesting. So it's not a waste of time to try it out. But in our case, it doesn't help. Re: i have tested (was: Test builds for Windows)
Hmm, seems my fun LVL is low. It is just an advert. It is fine if you like it your way. But I really really recommend you take at least a look. Maybe it has some ideas for you. Since the tool is only a PowerShell script. And Windows install mechanics need some love... ;) All the best Peter Am 30.
