Re: Committers do not have write access?
Thanks for taking the time to respond Dave. I am logged into GitHub with my Apache ID and I am authenticated otherwise I would not be able to access the "Edit this file" option, Regards Dave On 09/03/2023 18:35, Dave Fisher wrote: > Have you connected your GitHub account to your Apache id? > > 1. Re: Committers do not have write access?
Have you connected your GitHub account to your Apache id? 1. Enable 2FA on GitHub 2. Login to id.apache.org to map your GitHub id. 3. Wait up to an hour for the ASF to update the GitHub permissions. If that fails then we’ll need more discussion. Committers do not have write access?
I tried to make a trivial correction to one page of our website, as per the instructions here: https://github.com/apache/openoffice-org/blob/main/README.md#quick-updates-to-a-single-file I navigate to the specific page and select the "Edit this file" option, then I receive the following message: You’re making changes in a project you don’t have write access to. Submitting a change will write it to a new branch in your fork b-m-c-s/openoffice-project, so you can send a pull request. Is the README.md file incorrect or is there something I am overlooking? Fwd: E-mail address for publishing extensions is wrong
Hello All, FYI: While I can publish the extension page, the downloadable files are (again) not to be found in the SourceForge database. Apart from that, we need a working mail address for users to contact us. Regards, Matthias Weitergeleitete Nachricht Betreff:E-mail address for publishing extensions is wrong Datum: Thu, 9 Mar 2023 17:24:20 +0100 Von:Bogdan Antwort an: us...@openoffice.apache.org An: us...@openoffice.apache.org Hello. After I created my extension, I wanted to publish it, but instead I saw the message: " This extension is currently not published. Please contact the system administrator at nore...@extensions.openoffice.org to have it published, including a link to this page. " What would be the actual address to write to? Because it isn't "noreply", right? The extension is: https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/keyparastocx Thank you! -- Regards - Bogdan ('bogdro') D. Re: Review from Microsoft Store
Just FYI: This user is not willing to give more details... I am pretty sure the problem is that his AntiVirus program blocked OpenOffice and that his files are NOT password protected. Maybe a future update of his AntiVirus program will "solve" the problem... Case closed! ;-) Regards, Matthias Am 06.03.23 um 17:58 schrieb Matthias Seidel: > Am 06.03.23 um 17:14 schrieb Matthias Seidel: >> >> Hi all, >> >> I now have users on the Microsoft Store complaining about "locked" >> files after updating to AOO 4.1.14: >> >> Update Broken >> The fact that the update doesn't run through the Microsoft Store is a >> big red flag for me.
