2017-01-06 Thread Matthias Seidel
Hi Peter,

Good idea!

I am not a "YouTuber" but I wanted to create an animation with AOO (logo
and icons) as a small intro to new visitors of our YouTube channel.

Unfortunately I have to learn a bit more about the program before that
is going to happen! ;-)

Regards, Matthias

Re: [Google+] YouTube channel tutorial request

2017-01-04 Thread Peter Kovacs

Hello youtubers,

If you look for tutorial topics I have a suggestion.
How to copy stuff in Open Office. All the options. What happens if you
copy a Picture from the internet directly and How you save your picture
in the document itself.
I think this might confuse people, and it may lead to a coding issue
where the application hangs when complex documents are copy pasted.

Please check following forum thread for Ideas (same thread, 2 resolution
posts):

https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=75424#p342562

I think best would be to show a complex document.
Maybe also have a word on copyright and propper Quoting.

I guess this may be a valued topic.

All the best
Peter

Well, I already made one containing the orb from the images that were
available for the Google+ page:

But I like these old b/w pictures. My idea was a picture of a bunch of

The "problem" with test4u.eu is, there is a HUGE number of videos, and
they are all for OpenOffice.org 3.3 but labeled as Apache OpenOffice 3.3.
I'm not quite sure how to integrate them. But I will contact Stelios for

Yes but this is not a mandatory requirement. Especially for a Youtube
channel the B/W pictures (that, I think, were chosen because they were
in the public domain, from http://www.loc.gov/pictures/ or a similar

Hello Peter,

Not a crazy idea! ;-)

There have been users of the Google+ community who shared their videos
in the past.
I could contact them and ask for permission.

@all: Or should that channel be more "official"?
