Your attached file consists of 16,346 nul (00) bytes. There is no recoverable data in it. It is not a valid ODF Text (OpenOffice Writer) document. It was apparently saved in a corrupted form. This can happen when OpenOffice is closed improperly or there was a problem with interruption of file saving. Was there a situation that had you force quitting from OpenOffice? You will need to go back to a backup copy that you had saved before. You *might* be able to find an AutoRecovery version of the file that was the one being worked from.
