I have in vain tried to open a wps file - left over from privious 
activities!

Can you help med . I have now open office, which I am very satisfied with.

For .wps (Windows' Works) files, go to 
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=12 to download the 
converter. You may have to open them in Word or Word Starter, then save them in 
either .docx or .odt format. I tried this on some of my old files I seemed to 
have last a bit, but I think it is because I no longer have Math text support.
