[dev] Big bugs in Formula [2]

2005-06-01 Thread Вадим Владимирович

Easiest bugs:

1) Insert any formula and type Tab symbol after it - formula will become
blanc till next click on it.

2) When exporting to MS Office format the bug is on the surface: try to export
and to edit it.

Other bugs will raise in a big document with many formulas and large text. I'm
going to illustrate it later.

Best wishes, V.Karp.

Hello, people.

I faced 3 veri big problems usin Formulas in OOffice 1.9.104:
1) If there are many formulas thay can chage by thair own wish. For
example, you wrote two formulas and the first may change context to the
second's.
2) It may change format (huge symbols, blanc etc.). Only when you click
it, open and close formula editor, it became correct during next bug.
3) Problems when copy/paste formula (as object) = first bug is too
stronger.
4) When exporting to MS Office XP *.doc format I could not edit formulas
in MS Office. It became blank when I click it.

If you have a reproducable scenario (may be with a particular document)
it would be great if you filed an issue for each of the problems you
encountered. The bugs you described are not specific enough, they don't
appear always and easily.

Best regards,
Mathias

[dev] Re: Writer allows deleting opened file while saving

As it seems you don't apply any modifications to the Ooo installation,
but you deliver your application to your users, right?
Do they have to execute a setup for this? You could deliver the macro or
component mentioned above as a UNO package and integrate it into your
installation so that no user needs to do anything manually.

Best regards,
Mathias

Yes, this sounds sensible. We will try to do this.
Again - many thanks.

Yes, quite recently ;-)
It's a generated file. AFAIK dmake in binfilter/bf_sc/sdi should
generate it into binfilter/platform/inc

[dev] OOo 1.1.X crash on debian

2005-06-01 Thread Phoenix Phoenix
Hi,

i use OOo 1.1.X on a Debian Sarge. I encounter a lot
of problem with it. The soft crashes several times per
days, especially while opening or closing documents.
It happens with every kind of documents (txt, sxw,
sxc, ...).

Classicly, I've got a message box telling me that an
unrecoverable error has happened. For example, when
OOo crash while I open a document, I've got the
following trace back in my term:

I tested it with version 1.1.1 up to 1.1.4, and it is
still unstable. I really don't understand.
My versions comes from official debian packages.
I also tried it on different computers, and I've got
the same errors. All computer are Dell bi-xeon with
at least 2Go RAM and the linux kernel version is 2.6.

Thanks in advance for any help.
