I doubt it really helps as it's a bit of a tangent but FWIW there's a linux-arm-eabi port of OOo in 2.4.0. Though it's only known to work under qemu-arm, on a real arm you'd probably have to echo 3 > /proc/cpu/alignment and your changes of getting to fit into a real N8x0 are probably slim. Maybe abiword + gnumeric might be more practical. C. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi Tobias, Tobias Mann wrote: The entire Nokia N800 and N810 need a version of Open Office for The Operating System Tablet OS 2007 and 2008. We have Been working hard to port a version for it but because of the Nokia's In ability to run OOo. based applications we haven't gotten any ware. The Nokia can Run applications written in python up to version 2.5 . It is preferred that it be written in a version of python lower than 2.5. The Nokia Has a 320 MHz CPU and 128 MB of RAM. There is a total of 256 MB of on board memory. This means that The version of OpenOffice has to be smaller than about 100 MB but preferably 30mb or smaller. We would really appreciate if you would help us with this problem. splitting OOo into smaller pieces is somewhere on our agenda. If I understand correctly, you already started with the port. Does that mean that you already can build OOo (partly) for the N800 ? May be it is already showing up on the screen? There is quite a number of significant enhancements in the snapshots now, heading for release with OOo 2.4 in March. There's a summary of the more user-visible changes here: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=414#p3263 The particular issue you referred to is: http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=15546 I'll join Jonathan in giving a huge "Thank you!" to all the devs who've contributed to the upcoming release: it's looking very very nice!

I'm not sure, that I understand totally what you mean. But at least, there is a option in "Tools - Options - OOoCalc - General" where you can set in which direction the cursor should move, if you hit "enter". Perhaps the Fedora build you have has a different default setting. Sigrid - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[dev] Thank you for new Calc feature!
For years, I've been waiting for the Enter key to become "smart" in OpenOffice Calc like it is in Excel, such that hitting Enter returns you to the column where you last started entering data, rather than merely moving the cursor down one row. I was pleasantly surprised to find this feature in place when I recently updated openoffice.org from Fedora Rawhide. To the developer who finally implemented this bit of functionality, I want to say thank you, and keep up the good work! Take care, jik P.S. I'm not on the list, so if you reply and you want me to see it, please CC me. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
