  I am writing this in Java.. though i have little succcess after reading 
the documentation from andrew and samples ... But I am looking for some help 
on java.
Are there any help/open source tools to better understand the text 
documents.  Somehow UNO learning is taking longer time...  any help on this 
is greatly appreciated

Hi,
   I am writing an Add-on Component which works on the selecyed text of a 
document. Could some one on this list please help me in
1)How to access the currently opened document. any code snippet will be of 
great help.


2) How to enable the System.out and System.err messages. Where should i set 
the options for enabling these streams...

Hi, I am just started looking into open office to add some international 
text processing  capabilities.


Could you please let me know a tutorial or a small document on how to write 
the "hello World" add-on.



I looked into dev guide 
(DevelopersGuide/Components/Components.htm#1+7+3+Add-Ons) but it hasnt given 
the way to write the handlers for these menu and toolbar actions...
